Curriculum Director/Instructional Coach

The Adrian R-III School District is a four-day school week that is seeking an experienced and dynamic Curriculum Director/Instructional Coach to join our team and play a key role in shaping the academic success of our K-12 students. This position is ideal for an educational leader passionate about curriculum development, teacher coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the K-12 curriculum across all subject areas.

  • Support and coach teachers to improve instructional practices, differentiate instruction, and enhance student engagement.

  • Collaborate with school leaders and staff to align teaching strategies with district goals and state standards.

  • Provide professional development opportunities to staff, focusing on best practices in pedagogy, assessment, and classroom management.

  • Analyze student performance data to inform instructional strategies and identify areas for growth.

  • Ensure that curriculum resources are up-to-date and effectively meet the diverse needs of students.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education Administration or Curriculum & Instruction preferred.

  • Experience in curriculum design and teacher coaching is preferred.

  • Valid teaching certification with at least 5 years of classroom teaching experience.

  • Strong knowledge of K-12 educational standards, instructional strategies, and student assessment methods.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and create a supportive learning environment.
